This initiative embeds digital skills into undergraduate courses offered by the University. We developed teaching material and VLE resources to deliver 12 x 2 hour online classes.
The module was designed to engage students who join the University with a career path in mind, but little understanding of how digital skills can support this. Content was written to be as accessible as possible, delivering learning in small, manageable, blocks.
Students were encouraged to reflect on their studies to understand how the digital and soft skills they develop through this module can be related back to their core studies and employment aims.
